No need to dive straight into it, suggest you first install a Virtual Machine (VM) in Windows and make it Ubuntu's home until you feel comfident using it.

You need somebody who can reinstall your remote wordpress site from backup and patch it against a known exploit.
You are looking not for a "computer techician", but for a "wordpress expert".
