I've been holding off on finishing up the permanent residency application because I am concerned about a few things:
First, will I be subject to taxes in Argentina for my US-based income paid to my US-bank account from a US-based employer?
Second, will becoming a permanent resident subject my US-based company to liability in Argentina for fines, taxes, etc... for employing an Argentinian permanent resident. And if so, how would Argentina ever know/find out that I am working for a US-based company? I know Argentina has a rule that if I am here over 180 days I am a resident for tax purposes.
