Cooking classes?

I'm looking around for a good short-term cooking course to take here in BA (preferably in the Palermo area). I don't need a certificate or diploma and I'm not interested in those "Cocina Argentina" courses geared towards tourists - I just want something all around basic. I speak fluent Spanish, so the course need not be in English. Anyone have any suggestions?
