There are no appointments currently available through the government website. A big surprise. I've always relied on that website. Any ideas as to where I can score a booster?

"There are currently no appointments available." A quote straight from the website.

It's not about "There are currently no appointments available." The ARG national gov't has yet to announce the purchase of Covid booster
vaccines for the 2025 campaign. That is if Milei has any intention to do so in order to provide the booster shots for free. He may decide that
it's the responsibility of each of the 24 provinces + the City of BA to foot the bill. The current Minister of Health of Argentina is
Dr. Mario Iván Lugones, a physician graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in 1972. He was appointed on Sept 26, 2024.

Thanks, Gracielle.

The following is an excerpt of the communique published by the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET)
on 30 May 2024.

ARVAC, the first 100% Argentine vaccine, can be applied as a booster dose and will be available in pharmacies throughout the country. This vaccine against COVID-19 was developed by specialists from CONICET, UNSAM and the Pablo Cassará Foundation.
More than 600 professionals and 2,000 volunteers participated in this development, which was approved by ANMAT
....

....The Laboratory Pablo Cassará clarifies that “as the State still has contracts in force for the purchase of pandemic vaccines, ARVAC will initially be available in the private market at a price of $23,000. We are making the necessary arrangements to provide social coverage especially for risk groups, even before its incorporation into the national vaccination schedule for 2025”....

....Phase I, II and III clinical trials, involving more than 2,000 volunteers, revealed that the ARVAC vaccine is safe and effective as a booster against different variants of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The laboratory is prepared for further adaptations if necessary....“Clinical studies have
shown that ARVAC generates seroconversion (antibodies) in more than 90% of those vaccinated. As regards to safety, no serious adverse events or laboratory modifications of clinical relevance have been observed, and its local and systemic adverse effects are very low,” explains Roberto Gómez, medical director of the Pablo Cassará Laboratory and a physician graduated from the UBA.

....“Even if you are already vaccinated, you have to receive a booster to keep the immune response high and that the body recognizes the new variants of SARS-CoV-2,” explains Juliana Cassataro, director of the ARVAC project and researcher at CONICET and UNSAM....The presence of this Argentine vaccine in pharmacies will take place in a context in which the World Health Organization (WHO) declares that despite the end of the public health emergency due to COVID-19, this pathology continues to be a global public health priority.
It recommends a booster dose for risk groups (people with multiple comorbidities, immunosuppressed and other cases) and also for people over 50 years of age....
