I thought that too, when people reject the volatility of the free-market projects/coins. But...the argie mentality is that a Franklin is a Krugerrand, and no substitute will suffice.

I've seen an argie articulate the lowest cost way to turn USDT, USDC, DAI, TUSD, etc into Franklins. Made me want to cry.
