Cuil For Argentine Child

Hello,
we want to travel abroad and one of our children is argentine. When I bought a ticket in December with buquebus they generated a CUIL for my daughter and told me that I have to " dar de alta" at ANSES. Now my questions are:
- how do I do that?
- is it necessary if we are flying with LAN/Tam? We already purchased the tickets via a German website.

AFIP went back on the CUIL being required for children to travel. We just went to Uruguay and all we needed were their DNIs.

Thanks for your answers! But did you buy tickets to Uruguay in Argentina? Maybe they only want the CUIL when you purchase tickets. Nobody asked for our daughter's CUIL when we actually travelled (or it was on the ticket? I didn't check).

They did ask for that online. I put in my wife's CUIL.

I've got my DNI, I think my passport has already tried to be delivered to the address I listed, but I don't know for sure, but I do know that I haven't done the CUIL/CUIT thing.

cuil is for employees, cuit is for owners or self employed.
