Customs issues for foreign documentary filmmakers

Hey Everyone,

Some friends are coming here to work on a documentary film and asked me if there was anything they need to know in terms of customs issues. I mean, as far as I know they are just coming with equipment that they are taking out when they are done and they aren't Argentines so I can't imagine there should be any issues.

But does anyone know for sure?

it should be ok, many tourists come here with 42" LCD tvs and such (hard to justify!).

If they're Americans, they'll each pay ~US$140 at the airport.

Then if their stuff is new, they might have some problems being hit up for money.
