We spend the day there and had a great relaxing day, lounging by the pool, nice lunch, they gave us a little row boat to use. You can also spend the night, we didn't. Got there early, left late.

Apparently we are looking for more of a beach club than a resort... while the above seem lovely, they seem perhaps a little more suited to a weekend or a couple as opposed to a little group of friends...
We went there in November 2008 for a weekend. It was OKAY. Prices have since - literally - quadrupled. Our total bill (lunch + dinner + room + breakfast) at the Four Seasons Carmelo in November 2011 was less (than what Rumbo quoted us for the same weekend) and the quality was 10x.
To expound on this... Places in Tigre are a total rip off. They think they can get away with gouging you. But the service, facilities, and food are all sub par (for what you are paying these days). Four Seasons has real service, quality everything. They really know what they're doing (obviously) And at this point, the price is about the same.
