Mr. Poroto, with all due respect, WTF are you asking?? Please re-write with more details.

So I think you are saying that 3 people will carry 30thousand between them? (thats what I got from your posts)

On personal experience I have Colombian citizenship ( I have other 2 citizenships) and thus when I go to Argentina with my Colombian passport I face no issues at all. Me and an Argentinian went to MIA from EZE over a year ago with 9,000 each. Being Colombian or from Latin America/other countries is an advantage as they are so busy with the US Citizens and the Args that they sometimes just wave you by. So I had less money, but had no issues and it was legal money ofcourse. (Also, I could have gotten lucky) This was more than a year ago though, so things with the AFIP and stuff.. :/ well, you know.

3 people, thirty thousand dollars.. totally legal of course.

Are you sure about that ?

What would be happening is ther person A is taking us$30,000. Persons B and C are merely agents of person A and this is just a device to avoid proper controls. In practice they would probably get away with it, but under the strict letter of the law I am not so sure.

Sorry if unclear but I thought it would be obvious I would be taking the all singing all dancing USD.The 10k each person,30k,just saves me having to go thrice so one trip would do.
Solerboy,so you are just guessing? avoid proper controls?what are those? The money is legal but the powers that be won't allow me to transfer the money
to my bank in UK.It's called dictatorship?

Richone.........day trip with dollars...clue is in the subject........i do realise there are other countries with dollars but one would grasp the fact on here we are all taking usd, well that''s what i would think.thanks anyway.

You are allowed to take us$10,000 per person out of the country. Realisticly the border control agents, if they searched you would find us$10,000 on you and us$10,000 on each of your friends and as such would probably not pursue it futher. I would suggest that when travelling you board seperately.

Laws in Argentina are very simplistic so I doubt if anyone has legislated of the complex issue of groups travelling together, but I am quite sure if they wanted to make an issue of it they could. And as you stated in your opening post the money is from legal sources, but by saying that, you are confirming that it is your money and not that of your friends.

I am no expert on Argentine law, just offering a view.

If I were you, I would just do it and not worry too much. I doubt you will have a problem.

Also...be careful not to have a penny over us$10,000 with you...and that includes pesos. If they find you with any extra lunch or cab money, they will have you for it...
