DNI

Hello,

Arrived Argentina today and got a chip. When I tried to activate it, it didn’t accept my DNI number ( DNI for foreigners). Then again when I was trying to verify my id to set up a cavity account, same happened. Does anyone have any idea? Should I go to renaper to ask about it? I got it 2 years ago.

For a payg they asked for my DNI. I used my wife’s DNI but my concern is the fact that my DNI didn’t work. I guess I might head down to renaper in Palermo. Vamos a ver.

Something is wrong with that. I am sure you don't need a DNI for a prepaga. They are probably trying to sell you a package. You need a DNI for a monthly package deal.

I have had a prepaga with Personal for nearly 4 years that I started without a DNI.
