Does immigration court return original documents?

Hi, I'm applying for citizenship por opcion for my two kids (I am Argentine/American, living in the US). I submitted everything electronically, but I know the court will ask for the originals at some point.
Each child had to apply separately and they were assigned different judges. I am just wondering if I need to get another copy of the documents to submit, or if I can show them to one court and the judge will return the originals to me so I can show them to the other judge.
Does anyone know if the judge will return the originals of birth certificates, etc?

Are you a born Argentina citizen or naturalised? You can be born Argentine even if you’re born outside Argentina. This may change the application.
