When this government was elected they promised that the casta would pay and we are seeing at every turn that only the middle class and pensioners are paying for everything in their loss of earnings and a dignified living .

Sergio the minimum wage in Argentina is not 7 million pesos a month that these senators are now earning . I find it unacceptable that pensioners have not recieved any increases and now this !

Mind you, I'm not saying the politicians deserve the raise, merely that it's impossible to have honest politicians if their salary doesn't cover their living expenses. Bukele managed to massively downsize the legislature in El Salvador. Fewer total politicians would accomplish the same goal of cutting costs, while allowing those that are still drawing a government paycheck to earn enough to live on. This seems like the sort of solution Milei might consider as well. Just a thought.

I was being ironic. They are earning $4,000 USD compared to minimum wage of $230 USD
