Does anyone know if there will be problems trying to take a domestic flight within Argentina while having an expired tourist visa?

Sometimes they do check, sometimes they don't. Same goes for hotels, Western Union, credit card payments at shops

Most likely you're good to go

I suggest you make a color copy of the photo page of your passport and have it laminated.

And/Or present your driver's license when checking in at the counter or the gate.

Checking in at the gate may be possible if you are able to print your own boarding pass (at home when you purchase your ticket on line) and are not checking luggage.

Also copy the signature page and laminate the two back to back.

It's much better to carry this with you in the city as well (instead of your passport).
