I give it directly to the people I see who are needy. I also have a maid who while alright herself knows many people living in villas with under provided for children. If you have a maid yous likely is in a similar situation.

thanks for the suggestions. I think i may just keep my eyes peeled for someone who is in need as Rodolfo mentioned. Then at least I know its going to the right person.
I`ve given stuff to charity before, but its never quite the same as giving personally to someone and knowing its going to the right place.
