Ecuador is going the way of Argentina

Ecuador is in problems very similar to Argentina with its government asking for a IMF loan . The government has increased the cost of gas and petroleum 100 percent overnight due to imf pressure as a condition of this loan . In this moment Quito is in shutdown with the biggest anti government demonstrations in decades .

There have been 5 deaths reported with confrontations between the indigenous people and the military .

Similar problems as Argentina subsidised Public Transport has been fixed for 10 years , Gas went up 25 %.
So the dollarization was not a Panacea.,,,? Seems there is a very serious racial underlying problem with the Grupos Indigenas.
