El Bolson a beautiful towns soul destroyed by commercialism

I have not visited El Bolson for many years and remembered it very fondly as a place of peace and spirituality but nowadays this has been blighted by the commercialism rampant in many places worldwide.

Opening a huge casino onto a small community is criminal and all the chi chi restaurants with prices that match New York come at a great suprise as it is in a breadbasket .

There seems to be a lot of troubles brewing in this town with a council and mayor out of touch with the needs of the community .

Looks like typical Argentine politics to me. The good thing is that people are very vocal in that area and tend to protect their own interests quite well.

El Bolson is set in one of the most beautiful areas of South America with idyllic nature and a heightened energy in the air. I am saddened that a peaceful nirvana is being transformed with casinos and other western trappings.

Can we not as a society let things be.

With this kind of mayor in charge of that town I will no hold many expectations he fill exactly the bully type profile an uneducated person not fit to hold that investiture nor the privilege, also I'm pretty sure he is a corrupt and compulsive liar 'un chanta de cuarta' as they said, one more of the many incompetent so called politicians in charge of key positions in this country...damn people.

One observation though, these 'journalist' are not really journalist they are just reporters (sic) or movileros for an entertaining program called CQC which is not a true journalistic or serious program as such nor it pretends to be...that maybe explain a bit his reaction but in any case this is not a justification for his behavior according to his investiture, it's just unacceptable.
