I just had a very nice meal at this restaurant, located on Angel Carranza 1969, esq. Costa Rica 4774-7354
This smallish restaurant offers very reasonably priced Northern Argentine cuisine, and the meal I had was VERY nicely done.
Empanada (baked) de carne, large, fresh and tasty, served with a tasty homemade "picante" sauce (good, but don't be afraid!) - $3.50
Locro - Large portion, loaded with nice smoked sausage, chunks of beef and Lima beans - very nice! $20
Locro was served with a basket of warm homemade-tasting rolls that were also quite good and perfect for sopping up locro sauce!
I think this restaurant needs more investigation, as my little meal was first-rate and really hit the spot on a chilley winter night.
BTW, they have a small smoking section for those of us who care!
