I took one the other day and they're honestly convenient. Small and a bit slow, but given there isn't efficient North/South transport between 9 de Julio and Alem, it's nice to not have to travel in a Z pattern to get around. They're also free for first couple months so if you're downtown give them a try; the city is also seeking feedback via a QR code inside IIRC.

I have been taking the ebus a lot lately, as its very convenient for me, from retiro to san telmo and back.
I like it a lot.
Its about the same price as other buses, although you have to use a credit or debit card, it wont take SUBE cards.
Its quiet, airconditioned, comfortable, and very civilized. Because its lower to the ground, its easier to get off and on, and it doesnt rock and roll and fling you about like an amusement park ride like the bigger diesel buses do.
And all the drivers are women.
It only goes from the cruise ship terminal to usina del arte in boca, and back, mostly on Maipu one way and Esmerelda the other, so its pretty specific, but if you need to go where it goes, its much nicer than a regular colectivo.
