Hello people!

Where should I go if I want to buy electronics, such as computers, tv, sound system to a good price?

I want to buy argentinian or south american products, not imported from Europe for the same amount or more as in Europe.

are there any place?

Looking for a new flat tv, with HDMI. Must be some argentinian manufactures that are cheaper?

I just bought a new flat tv last night, a Sanyo made in Argentina. Got it at Rodo. They had the best deal among the general retailers. They offer 10% off with Citi card or 15% off from online order with Citi.

Ah, if only imports were the same price as they are in Europe...wishful thinking...

For computers head to Galeria Jardin http://www.galeria-jardin-bsas.com.ar/ they should be cheaper than places like garbarino or fravega etc.

i've been looking too. unfortunately there are none.

Samsung emailed me back when i asked why i could buy a ticket to Santiago, buy a tv, bring it back and pay all import taxes etc and it would still be cheaper and a better model of tv than i could get here.

Their answer..... we don't handle the price we use 5-6 distributors blah blah...

the comapnies? you guessed it compumundo, fravega etc.... who have all set the price to be the same and about twice as much as in chile.
