I ate here last night as I often do; 101.500 pesos (about $77 USD at blue rate) for a dry aged 950g T-Bone (which is actually more of a full porterhouse and appears to weigh more than 950g). Food and service excellent as always and two normal people could easily share that steak and leave full. I whole heartedly recommend this place over overhyped tourist traps such as Don Julio for a high end steak.

Damn, makes Colombia look so cheap.

Never I my life so far, ever tried the dry age. I heard it's good.

After a year and a half in Argentina this round, it’s the first time I’ve ever considered food and particularly eating out in England cheap
I’m from London. When I came to Argentina last November after almost a year, I was like WTF!!! And when I went back to UK in February, I went into Pret at Heathrow and first thing I said was “how cheap”. London eating and supermarket is waaay cheaper than Argentina. And the variety!

There’s a couple things that have doubled in price since I was last here. Namely crisps and chocolate but most other prices seem to have been fairly stable. The worst part is after so long in Argentina my threshold for spicy food has dropped!

I was in a mid range restaurant, certainly not fancy fancy, or dedicated to rich people, in the Lower East Side of NYC this week, and their steak was $97. This is not by any means an "expensive" restaurant in NYC.
BA is certainly getting ridiculously expensive, but the US started higher, and Trumponomics are keeping it well above Argentina.
McDonalds in Nyc is more than in BA. A slice of pizza is thinner and less of everything, (except peperoni) and still more than BA. Average slice to go is 4$ to 8$. The Hipster places can be ten bucks. for a slice.
Years ago, pre-covid, I used to gladly pay $40 or more for a one kilo steak at Proper, on Araoz, although we would split it 4 ways and get 6 starters too.
There have always been expensive restaurants in BA, only now, they are much more expensive.
I lament that Franca couldnt make it- it was excellent, and in the same price range you are talking about, but with a very interesting and unusual menu, and every single thing I tried there in my 3 or so visits was incredible.
