Company has an exciting opportunity for Engineer/Sr. Engineer to join our team in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Participates in the design, development, testing and delivery of high quality software/solutions with limited direction from the project lead and/or manager. Provides direct estimates, such as time, percentage of project completion, etc. to lead and/or manager.
•Obtains knowledge of Company operating policies and procedures, software languages, hardware, software tools, and any department specific knowledge required to perform job functions.
•Creates unit test plans, external & internal specifications for simple to moderate tasks with assistance of project technical leads and/or manager.
•Researches and resolves customer reported problems.
•Participates in design reviews and code reviews/inspections.
•Reviews product manuals, education materials, etc.
•Provides information to keep management informed on the progress and issues relating to all assigned projects.
•Continuously helps to improve Company's products and processes.
•Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements Needed:
•BS/BA in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience in software development tasks.
•Engineer must have 3 – 4 years of development experience. Senior level you must have 6+ years of development experience.
•Working knowledge of division/department life cycle methodologies.
•Ability to fix almost any customer-reported problem within their sphere of knowledge with little or no assistance.
•Displays understanding of a relatively simple product/project or a portion of a moderate product/project.
•Requires general supervision on routine work and detailed supervision on new assignments.
•Effective oral and written communication skills.
•Knowledge of object oriented concepts.
•Ability to work in a high pressure situation with tight deadlines at times.
•Proficient in English.
•Depending on work location, domestic and international travel may range from 10% to 100%.
Highly Desired Skills:
•Experience in ATM, POS, EFT, Finance, Banking, Funds Movement, and/or ACH preferred.
•Portuguese language highly desired.
