Euro/US newcomer in BA

Hi everyone,

I moved to BA from San Francisco to be with my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago. I quit my job and came here without a real plan, so for now I just enjoyed my free time in the city.

While I am enjoying the free time, I am looking for cool things to do and expats to meet up with. I was hoping to tap into your experience being an expat in BA and see if you could could give me any pointers to facilitate my integration.

I am starting Spanish group classes next week but I would be interested in playing football, wine tasting groups and other stuff.

Hey Elioth, you can find football teams to play with on http://www.fcbafa.com/en. On this website you can sign up for games and meet people from all over the place. I believe it costs 30 pesos per game; they are played on actual soccer fields. My husband (that sounds old, but he's only 34 just joined that website too. Just like you, he's here without a real plan, and in any case happy to play sports!
