Factories leave Argentina and migrate to Brazil

Name (without hurting yourself) a SINGLE industry we excel at, we are competitive region or worldwide and it's a pleasure -even mild- to do business with us.
How about MercadoLibre? That's something to be proud of.

Mercadolibre is a small sample of what Argentina could be if it did not criminalize entrepreneurship and the pursuit of profit.
As of right now, they do well because they can pull most of their income from abroad and because they repatriate as little of that income as they possibly can. They also keep most of their assets abroad too. Their largest office is in Sao Paulo instead of BA for a reason.

Quite true - it is sickening. Peron's legacy of class hatred and resentment is the gift that keeps on giving.

Moral of the story is, if you want to grow as a company and invest in foreign markets - don't do it from Argentina.

I have said it time and again. The problem is a lack of confidence in Argentina by foreigners and Argentines alike due to excessive government powers, interference and corruption creating weak institutions and laws. Anything for a vote. Hell, even Cristina keeps her "savings" in dollars and Macri stores his abroad... if our leaders cannot have confidence in Argentina, how can MercadoLibre? Fix the root problems I hear? Don't be ridiculous, these problems are the real golden goose for the political, labour union and local business classes in this country who lack the brains or energy to do anything the honest way.

Should have stated the obvious.
I mean manufacturing industries, not agricultural or services.

Our factories are worthless. So are their products, that's why the Captains of Industry (LOL) turn to importing chinese crap at the first opportunity and leave the blue collars unemployed

That is also why their brands are mostly as good as the last box imported and there's no Service worth it's name after purchase. No parts stock nor qualified technicians. Just the original stock and then you are on your own.
