Family Hotel in central BA?

We have friends coming to visit in a few months and are looking for a hotel for them around Recoleta or Palermo. They have two young children and aren't looking to break the bank. Does anyone have a good experience with a family hotel? No need to be a big chain or owned by expats.

These two are affordable and family friendly, they are close to Callao and Corrientes ( 10 blocks from Recoleta ) Affordable and Recoleta do not go together unfortunately...

Why not an apartment rental since it's a few months?

It will be most likely less.

Thanks for the suggestions. They are actually only staying here in BA for about a week, and they are arriving in a few months. I think they would prefer the services of a hotel more than the spaciousness of an apartment.

They don't need anything fancy, but it doesn't have to be totally budget either. I know there are a number of small hotels and B&Bs in Palermo...I stayed in one about 10 years ago that was great, but I can't remember the name. I'm not sure if many of them allow children.
