(My apologies if this isn't the place to post this. I didn't see any other forum that looked appropriate.)
I just watched The Flaw and found it really educational and interesting! The Flaw is a documentary by David Sington about the economic bubble in the US that preceded the crash in 2008. It does a really good job of explaining the social, historical, and economic pressures and does a great job in explaining fairly complex economic theory and moments in a way that, even if you are math-challenged, you'll get.
A great double feature is to watch Margin Call (with Kevin Spacey and Demi Moore) and The Flaw back-to-back. Margin Call is loosely modeled after the Lehmen Brother's failure that was the key pin that started the collapse.
You can get both on iTunes. I highly recommend them. Great watching if your spouse/SO or the kids are gone and you're tired of the usual yada yada.
