Hi Guys, I'm moving to Buenos Aires for a year starting in July and I am currently looking for a place to live. Since I won't be coming with anyone I know, I wanted to rent a room in a shared house of other students/young professionals in Palermo, Belgrano, or Barrio Norte. Do you have any recommendations for popular sites to find a room or connect with other people looking for roommates?

I know that I probably won't get the market price for a room since I'm an extranjero, but I was hoping to pay around 4000 pesos/month for a room in a good neighborhood. Is this reasonable?
 
Yes you might be able to find a small room for this. I think $5.000 is closer though

actually you should look into temporary rentals they run more like 8 to 10 k pesos but you get you own apt.. good luck

airbnb.com is a good place to start
