Finding Dog-Friendly Rentals

I know that Portenos love their dogs, but I seem to be having some difficulties finding short-term rentals that are dog-friendly. I want to stay in a short-term place while I look for my long-term rental. Many of the agencies I have contacted have been unresponsive, which I believe may be due to the fact that I have a dog, even though she is a small, miniature poodle.
