Finding short term accommodation in BA

Hi there
I'm planning to come to BA for Feb and March initially, to teach english with an NGO, and wondering how best I can find a short term rental. Can anyone recommend any good websites? Would I be better just staying in a hostal to start with, then when I get there finding somewhere more permanent to stay? Also, which is the best area of BA to live in do people think?

If you want a shared living situation, use www.compartodepto.com or www.spareroomsba.com

I have friends who have used both and they are legit. You can find a short-term place to stay before you come and then either stay put if you like it or look for something more long-term once you're here.

I have had a good experience renting a short-term apartment from BYT (bytargentina.com), they were very responsive and friendly and the photos were representative of the apartment I booked online (not always the case in previous online rentals). Good luck to you!
