You are correct. Nonetheless, I have used the elevators without issue when carrying a heavy load.
I have also seen persons with small children use them as well.

But looking at it, the triple threat station I was specifically writing about doesn't show a handicap symbol after any of the three names. Which is hardly surprising; if there was a cutaway side-view of that complex, it would look like an ant hill.
