I don't know how they are called in English, let alone in Spanish.

Do they exist here? If so, how are they called? I have never seen them in supermarkets. Thanks.

Great! I will look for that in a dietetica, I guess.

Fish Glue?

Do Italians really call gelatin fish glue?

Speaking of fish glue though, does anybody know if you can get Activa here?

Yes, though what we use is derived from pig like most jellies.
The bag I have here says "Gelatina in fogli, anche nota come colla di pesce".

I would like to switch to veg jellies (such as agar agar), but I am not familiar with the dosis.

Se llama "gelatina sin sabor en láminas" ó "gelatina sin sabor en hojas"

Usually 1 piece equals 7 grams of jelly without flavor. It is much better quality than the argentinian one in powder.

I've only used powdered gelatin. Never seen any other kind in grocery stores, and now sin sabor is getting harder to find. I look forward to using the fish glue version to make some daube en glace.
