Does anyone know if BsAs water is fluoridated? My kids take fluoride vitamins because our local water isn't, but I don't want them getting a double dose of fluoride if it's already in the water... Thanks!

Fluoride is a toxic chemical and is detrimental to health. Please read the link and educate yourself

As I have been told it isnt so flouride tablets are common here as is the 6 monthly flouride gel treatment for kids at the dentist. I personally wouldnt let my kids drink the local water - its for bath and teeth brushing only- not being hysterical but when its smells so bad of chlorine sometimes I cant help thinking thats good for noone.

That would be Perry more.:p

When I say, "Smile when you sat that, Perry" I am only referring to his pearly white teeth.:D

To drink water from the tap in Buenos Aires is not recommendable. Chlorine is not recommendable for humans . I buy bottled water in bulk for just 1 peso a bottle and it comes from a reliable spring from the Salta region.

Water is life but it must be from a safe source and not in plastic form:p

Im almost certain the water here is fluorinated and while it isn't the best tasting water in the world it's reasonably far up the list for me. Been drinking it for two years, haven't turned into a lizard or anything yet.

Edit: wiki says yes

Thanks for the info - that's what I need to know. And Perry, don't worry, I'm plenty educated on what's healthy for my kids :).

A fair few brands of bottled water contain added flouride in Argentina too, if you're worried about drinking bottled water and not getting enough flouride.
