For all my friends using AI for immigration advice...

Judging from the icons, this is DuckDuckGo’s “Search Assist” and its first results are hit or miss because they’re optimized for speed, apparently at expense of accuracy. If you expand the “More” and continue the conversation it switches to DuckAI and realizes its mistake.

Asking Google, ChatGPT, or Claude gives more-or-less the right exchange rate the first try.

I was able to navigate my migration process using ChatGPT but you should always verify. If you don’t understand how these tools work, you can always ask them to provide sources.

Ask it to provide and cite the sources word for word for every claim and ensure they only use official sources (those ending in .gob.ar and to ignore all other third party sources) as of 2026, flag where there are gaps in the knowledge - use these modifiers on your prompts and you’ll get accurate advice as it is just scraping from official sources.

You just need to understand how to use the tool properly- effectively it’s just a search engine

You can take a course to learn how to use Ai more effectively. This is one that is free though registration ends this month
