HI,

My company is looking for freelance writers (see description below) with payment of $7 to $12 USD per short articles, depending on the article length, from 250 to 400 words. To get an idea of the hourly rate, current writers are able to to complete 400 words in less than an hour.

We are opening an office in Buenos Aires later this year, which is why we are recruiting here as well.

Here's the ad:

Part Time Freelance Writer - Urgently Needed!

Andovar is recruiting many freelance writers to work part time 15-25 hours per week in quickly writing a wide variety of articles (250-400 words) for travel websites.

Typical articles include:
* Overviews of cities
* Weather/Airports in cities
* Hotel reviews
* Travel blogs
* Guide to sports/food in cities

The fee per article depends on the number of words assigned and the ease of writing such articles. Writers will be able to repurpose and reference other online travel guides, but without lifting whole sentences verbatim.

Each writer will be supervised by an editor and be provided with a style guide. Depending on the size/nature of the article, the work should be completed in 45-60 minutes per article, with writers being able to work faster as they gain experience in each format.

It is not necessary to have visited the destinations, but writers' personal background will be matched to article destinations/content where possible.

Articles are assigned weekly and payment is made monthly. Writers who meet quality standards and who can adjust to the editor's standards will be prioritized for work in the following week. The project will expand every week, from hundreds to thousands of articles, so new writers will be added constantly.

Qualifications
* Native English speaker
* Daily access to email
* Above average writing skills
* Ability to write quickly on a wide range of subjects
* Ability to create new content by researching and summarizing other travel websites

ALL WORK WILL BE THOROUGHLY CHECKED FOR PLAGIARISM AND ANDOVAR WILL NOT PAY FOR CONTENT SIMPLY COPIED FROM OTHER SITES WITH VERY MINOR EDITS

Interested applicants should send their resumes to seowriter [at]andovar.com. You will be asked to take a short test by writing a single opening paragraph about a subject.

In additon to the above, we are also looking for editors. Editors would need to have more availabily than the writers, and we'd need some to eventually (in a month or so) work full-time (from home). Full-time positions could lead to permanent postions once the BAires branch of the office opens late this year. Others not available full-time could eventually do 25 or 30 hours per week.

here's the ad:
Andovar is seeking part-time and full-time editors based in Buenos Aires for several months. The position will initially be part-time and flexi-time but the numbers of hours will steadily increase and succesful candidates may be offered full-time work in the near future.

Responsibilities
· To rapidly edit and proofread many articles for travel websites, checking content, grammar and readability
· To evaluate new writer applicants; to grade and provide feedback to existing writers
· To create style guides and instructions for writers
· To coordinate with our engineering department to ensure that the content is in correctly structured XML
· To coordinate with our Project Managers to build our team of writers worldwide

Qualifications
· Native English speaker with Bachelor's degree
· Proven editing experience
· Travel writing skills would be an advantage
· Fluent typing and all-round computer skills
· Ability to work independently under pressure

Also, there is the possibility you would need to attend meetings with some of our BAires based staff for briefings, etc.

Remuneration
$10 to $13 USD per hour (dependant on volume and experience); $1,500 per month (full-time)

Please contact seowriter[at]andovar.com and put "BAires-based" somewhere in the email subject

Hi! I think this may be a little late, but are you still looking for freelance writers or editors? If this is the case, is there any e-mail address my friend can write to if he wanted to know more about the job?
Thanks!!
