French Tourist Dies After Being Robbed in Retiro.

A tourist from France died yesterday after being robbed in the Retiro neighborhood of the city. Apparently he suffered a hear attack while making a report at nearby police station. Andres Renier Mateier was 77 y.o. he was with his wife when it happened. They were visiting their daughter who lives here.

While waiting, out on the street to, make a report (a translator was needed). He fell and hit his head on the pavement. He apparently suffered a heart attack.

just awful. no doubt the stress of that situation was a factor.

that thief should get their charges upgraded to murder.

Also they made sure to state "he didn't die inside" the Police Station. Due to mistreatment....No possible legal responsibility for someone that died on the street . While waiting to declare?

Didn't a tourist get shot to death in plaza san martin a few years ago over a camera? The killer is probably already out of prison

I didn't see in the report that those responsible had been caught; I hope they are apprehended and brought to justice. This is just terrible.
