Fresh Turkeys

When I make Thanksgiving dinner in Buenos Aires I spend more time on the fixin's - cranberry, wild rice stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. I've given up on finding a quality turkey, and just make chicken.

We always find a turkey, but are always in search of fresh rather than frozen, thanks for the advice.

did you ask the chicken guy if he could get one?

We just asked the chicken guy, he thinks he can get one from his poultry farm connection, we'll know Friday.

Today I just came across a shop in Mercado Belgrano (Juramento 2500 near Cabildo).
Named La Granja, it sells quality poultry, it seems. They also sell rabits, and possibly
they can get hens too.
