Galapagos, but first Ecudor!

Hello,

I really want to go to Galapagos in December or January. To my delight I noticed that plane tickets to Galapagos are rather cheap. However, getting to Ecuador was far more expensive... what is the cheapest way to get to Ecuador by air?

Ecuador is never going to be real cheap by air, but the prices I am seeing from some random dates in December are around $550 round trip to GYE and about another $300 to GPS, or you can book it as one ticket on LAN for just under $700 from EZE to GPS changing planes in SCL and GYE, which is not to bad, can't imagine you are gonna get it much cheaper by air. Also remember that December to January is a busy time in the Galapagos and prices will be high once you do get there.

I just went to Ecuador in July. The cheapest route is Córdoba to Guayaquil. You pay another $200-300 just for flying out of Buenos Aires.

Sweet I found tickets to Galapagos for 565 i December! still very expensive but I think it'll be affordable!
