So last time I was in BsAs, I did the tourist thing and rented an electric scooter to get around. IMHO, I overpaid for South American standards, but I still loved it. Now that I'm thinking of coming back again and again, how would a person get "un moto" (say anywhere between a 50 - 125cc) registered? Have standard stateside license without motorcycle endorsement. Thinking of having a local I know register it in her name and press on with life, but if I don't have to bother her, what's the work around?

If you have a foreign motorcycle license, will that do until you take the written test for the Argentina license?

Also, if you have never gotten an Argentina driver's license, but are licensed for cars & motorcycles in another country, do you take 2 written tests and 0 driving tests? Or is there a combined written test for cars/motorcycles?
