Ginger beer.

You can buy schwepps ginger ale in the alcohol mixer sections of most large supermarkets and some chinos..

Bermuda?? ;-)

But seriously, I never saw ginger beer in Buenos Aires when I was living there. Ginger Ale, yes, but not Ginger Beer.

Will you be making dark and stormys if you find some ??? :)))))

I made some from scratch- yeast, ginger and sugar with 2 litre bottles of still water. Find the recipe online. It was brilliant!

Or maybe someone has discovered some Gosling's Black Seal Black Rum!!!!:)

Interesting recipe posted above but it seems kind weak for my tastes. I have been experimenting with the recipe here and really like the results- http://thehowzone.com/how/Making_Ginger_Beer/5 . I made a few of my own modifications because I LOVE strong ginger taste. It also has the added bonus of making my stomach feel really good after drinking it. BTW- you do not have to ferment this until there is alcohol. Just let it sit a few hours and then bottle it up.

We've just got home from the Bahamas a couple weeks ago and when I read this I thought I was still there for a second. Damn!

Yes, it was Goslings and Barritts Ginger Beer.

About 1/1 ratio on ice ;-0

From this page, it looks like you can email them for "other information or questions on availability outside these locations [Caribbean and US]"
