We just moved to a new furnished long-term apartment that doesn't include a safe. Can anybody recommend a good place to buy one? I went to Easy, but didn't like what they had. I want a high quality, large safe that can fit a MacBook Pro. And I'd prefer one that can be bolted to the wall. Appreciate any recommendations.
Thanks,
Gary

Where are you located?

I think there was a place near Tribunales, on Lavalle; there's also another on Ayacucho and Corrientes or close by.
Possibly on Parana and Corrientes too.
Still another one on Diaz Velez and Acoyte.

Some places that deal on second hand office furniture often have them. Try Medrano and Rivadavia area or B. Mitre and Caravelas.

I bought mine in San Isidro. Nice big shop with large selection. Of course , I live out here in the far off suburbs.

Has anybody seen combination safes here without a keyhole?

Bulldog model Has emergency lock in case batteries run out...!! or lost combination.

Sistema de cierre: Posee dos pasadores de acero macizo y cerradura de emergencia para los casos de apertura por agotamiento de pilas u olvido de clave

Emergency lock in case a thief doesn't want to guess 1 million possible 6 digit codes?

Having a set of keys for your safe is like making up a 16 digit mixed numbers letters and symbols password for your email account and then letting anyone reset and change your password if they know what city you were born in or your mother's maiden name.

I'm looking for a combination safe with either an electronic lock that you can put the batteries in from the outside or just a good old fashioned rotating combination.

I believe it´s on Junin bet. Corrientes and Sarmiento.

Methinks you're right. Used to pass in front of it when picking up my kids at school and going to the bus stop. We have long since switched to another bus line on Av. Córdoba.
