I've been having problems with my dealings with a Buenos Aires real estate agency. Is there a government bureau that i can contact that regulates these companies?.

steve,

just out of curiosity. Can anyone work as a real estate agent here or do they need some license?

ceviche,

Someone in the forum once posted that no special "real estate" license was needed.

That's all I know about the subject.

There may be a trade body that the real estate agent belongs to the largest in CABA // Capital Federal is :
CUCICBA - Colegio Unico de Corredores de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires

https://www.enbuenosaires.com/trade-associations/cucicba.html

There are many other trade associations for different areas and aspects:

You may be able to speak to the trade association with your complaint as they may have an official complaints procedure for their members.

Hope this helps.

Full disclosure I work for enbuenosaires
