These people have no limits. Ironic since their own media channels are rife with vitriol, name calling and enticement. This is the next step after Federic’s “cyber patrullaje” measures.

Not the mention such a “ministry of truth” would be a political tool under the power of the executive who is free to change its staff whenever they want or there is a new election meaning the “truth” of the state can only ever be the “truth” of the party.

If a government does a good job and has results that speak for themselves they have nothing to fear from the people. When you need to set up an agency to manipulate the message of results not speaking for themselves it’s a slippery slope into the abyss and it’s anything but democracy.
