Greetings, I plan to visiting BA around Nov 11.

I'm considering a relocation permanently or seasonal 6 month to a community outside BA. I'm not a big city guy. A couple things that are important are access to a 25 meter competitive swimming pool, Four or 3 wall handball, fresh food markets, high speed internet. Any recommendations would be appreciated on places I may want to stay in an area outside BA. David

I guess it depends on your budget. I might not be your best bet on advice as I dont live in BA all year round, just part time. However, the town of Pilar might be somewhere you could look into as it is just outside BA and where a lot of Portenos have their country houses. As a result there are a lot of country clubs and hotels there that might have the facilities you are looking for.

Nordelta is quite an exclusive place outside BA that could suit a big budget.

I'm sure that in areas like Pilar, San Isisdro all the facilities you request are available $$$$
plus add sailing and rowing clubs. All the needs for the very rich. In those areas you need 1 or 2 cars? Plus rentals are for the rich. Consider places 100 kms away from Capital, in the Provincia.!

There are other nice places around, search for "country" in Google Maps in the areas of Campana, Escobar, Maschwitz and Pilar / Pilar del Este, for example. Make sure that as a renter you have access to the facilities, it could be restricted to members, or "socios".

I know the perfect place. It is called Medellin. It is in Colombia. And they speak Spanish in Colombia! Real Spanish....the kings Spanish. And they serve chicken soup in restaurants......can you imagine?
