Jaja! One small point, Santa Fe today is Peronist , Perotti, and the situation has gone much further down hill since the Socialist Party left office in 2019.

For those who don't speak Castellano, she says that the government must respond with all the force of the state, sending the AFI, the Gerdarmeria, the Prefectura, the Federal Police, and the Army. I'm not a big fan of using the military for law enforcement, but Prefectura are probably a good compromise. For those who don't know, they are military police under the control of the Navy. They wear the brown uniforms, and if you're ever at a march or demonstration and you see cops in brown uniforms arriving, it is time to exit stage left, because things are probably about to get ugly.

In conclusion, Bullrich also says that "and the minister who said that the war against the narcos has been lost, he has to go".

In past, I have usually held a rather negative view of Bullrich, but this very short video was a side of her I haven't seen before. The things she has to say may be alarming, but her presentation is calm, rational, and logical. Furthermore, she makes good sense to me. In dealing with serious problems like this, half measures are doomed to failure. You need to either go whole-hog, or do nothing.

Yes, of course, I understand that is campaign season. And the comments, (always the best part of anything posted in r/argentina), are deeply cynical of her motives, demonstrating once again that argentinos are more politically sophisticated than one might expect.

I have to say that the last 3 years have changed my political opinions about Argentina. Alberto has been an absolute disaster.

I wish it didn't work this way, but it's always the case; the proverbial squeaky wheel gets the grease, right? My power has been off since Monday at my building. I'm a nobody, but if it was a K C list celeb, an opposition journalist, a director at Banco Santander or AFIP you better believe it would have been back on in hours.

I mean, I hated Anibal before this, like many who remember him from Cristina's days he's a dickhead in general as is shown here, plus, there's his alleged connections in the underworld, but I digress lest I wade in to being denounced for slander.

I can't stand Bullrich, and, should my citizenship be processed in time, I won't be voting for her as I still have a very negative view of her, but I will concur that the last 3 years have been like watching a train crash in slow motion. The man couldn't find his own asshole with both hands, a flashlight, and help from a friend. He lives in his own reality, so disconnected from the lives of everyday Argentines, I don't know how he can say half the stuff he does, perhaps he actually believes it? Is this worse than knowing none of it's true? I don't know, I leave that for each person to decide.

My husband last night asked me who I'd vote for. He's apolitical, from a family of hardcore Ks and Peronists, so I was surprised, but he said things are so bad these days that we can't keep doing the same thing over and over again, the country is literally falling apart. If this sentiment is sinking in to someone who doesn't care about politics then it's trouble for the Ks.

Do you guys think they see the writing is on the wall and more people will do what Juan Manzur did, rats fleeing a sinking ship lest they have too much of the stink of Alberto's failure on them?

One of the most disturbing points about this is that most hits and extortions taking place in Rosario in the past years are being ordered from convicted criminals inside prisons. Instead actually of dealing with that issue, the government continues to be the voice of prisoners “rights” (a fixed line telephone, communication and privacy for todxs…) making them directly complicit in what is taking place on the streets. Let’s not forget we have a government that did a mass release of healthy prisoners during the pandemic that have since resulted in numerous re-offenses including numerous murders, rapes and violent robberies also in the name of “human rights”.
