Hi, everyone. My name is Joe Troop, and I'm a resident here in BA but am originally from NC. I have a gypsy jazz quartet here in the city, and tomorrow night (Saturday, December 17th) we are playing in Ladran Sancho, an awesome bar in Almagro. Starts at 10pm and is 15 pesos. Damn Joe just saw this, I arrived last Tuesday. I love gypsy jazz - I play it myself, quite badly.

It might well have been posted here before but warrants a reminder.

There's a jazz group named Jazz Friends which plays in Recoleta near the cemetary entrance on at least Sundays and, if I understood correctly, on Saturdays too. Again if I understood correctly between around 3:30 and 6:00.

A search on YouTube will turn up several hits.

Now if I could just find a bar with that kind of music, or the blues, life would be perfect.
