Don't do it, and find another school. I used to work in the educational tourism industry in Buenos Aires a few years ago. Ibero was the black sheep of the market. Aside from the most common complaints (lots of bait-and-switching their clients, lack of standards, etc.), what they mostly became infamous for was sending a "black list" of teachers to EVERY other school in the city. This was a list of a few dozen teachers who had worked with them and either quit or were fired after demanding basic work conditions which they lacked, and included their full names and DNI numbers (which is illegal). Here's a copy of that email.

From the email: "[the teachers on the attached list] are disrespectful, don't show up on time, lack ethical and professional commitment, and they are not qualified to teach Spanish..." (I wonder why they hired them in the first place?).
As expected, this backfired and the Argentine Association of Spanish Schools repudiated this action, and filed a complaint with the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Education, and other government agencies. Here's the Association's response:

Last thing I heard about them was around 2011/12; they were trying to sell the school for 100,000 pesos and no one wanted to buy it. Now, I haven't been in touch with the industry for a few years, but if you ask me, by simply looking at their website I would think that the school no longer exists. Why? The first hints I see by having a quick glance at the site: 1. Their last "press and news" entries are from 2008; 2. The only phone listed on the website is a MOBILE phone (it starts with 9); and WORST OF ALL, their address is actually another school's address - I just googled "Coronel Diaz 1736" and voila, another Spanish school showed up, with the same address:
https://vamospanish.com
So most likely, they closed the school and kept the website and Vamos Spanish pays the former Ibero owners commission for every unsuspecting gringo that they send.
I'm just curious - were the Western Union receiver's details a private person's? If so, check if it's not one of the former owner's names (they are in the email in the above link). If it is, you are likely dealing with a private person (not a business or organization) getting paid to act as an agent that forwards gringos on to another school's TEFL course.
I wish I could recommend a good TEFL program in Buenos Aires, but I've been out of touch for so long that I can't really confidently endorse one. I am sure someone in this forum will be able to make a recommendation.
Good luck!
