Has anyone tried MercadoLibre International?

We saw a bedspread that we'd like to order on Mercado Libre but it was marked 'International'.
I'm concerned that the product might get hung up in customs or take months to get here.
Has anyone ordered anything that was similarly marked?

I used it in Colombian and it was all good. MercadoLibre handles everything for you and pre-charges the custom fees, so there should be no hold ups in customs.

I have no doubt your experience was good in Colombia. Customs here have a infamous reputation and generally is a shitshow. Best advice I've heard if it is being delivered by courier(DHL preferably as they are the only company who deliver end to end) or wait until customs are revamped as had been muted by the new government.

As far as I understand, MercadoLibre Internacional works well, presumably due to relations between Marcos Galperin and Milei.

I personally would use it and trust it.

The problems I have heard of since the relaxing of the rules this year have been with people buying direct from Amazon and then having big delays with Correo Argentino - as has been historically the issue.

But the anecdotal things I have heard is that it works well.

I hope you are right, I read some things through Amazon could be damaged and nothing on ML international. Would be good to hear of any real experience as it does drive me up the wall.

I use Aerobox, only had 1 problem (delayed due to huge amount of purchases during COVID) but works great since 2022, already used it twice this year. You get it delivered to their warehouse in Miami and then they send it here and take care of things with Aduana.

I read a couple of months ago that this kind of service was on the initial stages and I'm hoping it will work.
