Has Argentina Become Worse Or Better for Foreign Retirees recently?

I am curious about the recent changes due to Milei's policies to the livability of Buenos Aires as a retiree from abroad with a fixed income. Has it gotten better or worse? What is the current situation? I've been reading that applying for retirement visas now has become much more difficult and perhaps won't make it easy for newcomers in the future.
My backstory: I've been riding a Honda Motorcycle south from Minnesota (started in 2022) living in each country in LATAM along the way and am currently in Montevideo, Uruguay for all of March. Will be heading over with the bike in April and spending April (possibly May) in CABA. My main focus (besides enjoying the wonderful autumn weather, food, drinks, culture and short moto trips myself) is to try to meet up with and get people's stories of living in Buenos Aires as an Expat (Bonus points if you're a recently relocated Retiree from USA/Canada!)
Does anybody fit my description or know of anyone who does? Any comments about my initial questions!?
Thanks in Advance
- Eric

depends on where you are from, what your other options are, how much money you have, and what you want.
There are absolutely people still retiring here-
and their particular circumstances make the decision.
for me, its still much cheaper than the USA, but everybody has different situations.

Well, Argentina is still seen as a safe haven from international conflicts, so at least that part of the appeal remains.
You must not have been in Argentina in 1992 when the Israeli embassy and the AMIA were attacked.

Retirees from USA cannot use Medicare; UK retirees will have no NHS. How much will health insurance alone cost for someone over 65? Over 70? Will insurance companies even insure them?
