I'm new to this forum, and should introduce myself. Found the board while browsing an Argentina guide at the local bookstore this afternoon. I'm an immigration attorney in Minnesota, thinking about heading to BsAs in December or January for a couple of months. I have a few clients in Argentina, and would like to expand my consular practice down there while avoiding the incipient winter here. I did the same thing in Colombia earlier this year, but few cities in the Americas can compare to Buenos Aires.

I've been to Argentina a couple of times (early 2004 most recently), speak Spanish fluently, and don't tend to drool.

Funny, perhaps you are my attorney! Michael??? Anyway, I am also from MN. I am living in Buenos Aires and have been since December 2009. I have a lot of experience with immigration. Perhaps I could assist you in your endeavour of expanding your practice. I have not gone to school for it, I just have a lot of personal experiences regarding immigration.
Anyway, Let me know when you will be coming and perhaps we can get together...
