I've been settled here in Nqn Capital for over a year now. How are you searching for listings?

While Zonaprop will have many listings, however not all of them make it there. Unfortunately, that means you have to dig in a lot of places. What I recommend is that you note down who the listing contact agency is for the various Zonaprop listing you see. Then go directly to the agent's website to see what they have for Neuquen. You should find additional listings there.

That being said, the market here can be tight and the costs are higher than BA. We went directly from the US to Neuquen so settling down was tedious and difficult because we knew very little. If you are already well familiar with Argentina, the process should be easier.

We started here renting a furnished 2 bedroom at the Garden Inn tower for a while, which although small for us, is as luxurious as they get. The contract was dollarized (adjusted monthly). The most difficult aspect for us was qualifying for an unfurnished home rental. Many of the real estate agents just weren't familiar with expats and too skittish about foreign income sources. Most wanted to see a large domestic salary and an army of guarantias. We have small kids too which made them particularly nervous about squatter rights.
