Hello Patrick, if you are looking for both english and practicing your spanish, one place to look is The Suburban Players. This is an amateur theatre club in the suburbs (San Isidro). There is a great mix of expatriates and local argentines and anglo-argentines (english speaking), of all ages from 10 to 80+. Though they do theatre, there are also a lot of social events and opportunities to participate, and the bar is usually open!. Their website is www.thesuburbanplayers.com.
